Things you need to remember

You'll need to present your:

documents needed for your journey, any transit points and acceptance at your final destination
Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult travelling on the same booking reference.

Hand baggage
Each passenger can take 1 piece of hand baggage. It must not weigh more than 7 kg or be larger than 56 cm x 45 cm
x 25 cm
You can also carry one small laptop bag or one small handbag/satchel or one duty free shopping bag. This bag must
be smaller than 25 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm and must be placed under the seat in front of you. If you are seated in Row 1
or in an exit row seat, then the bag must be stored in the overhead locker
The hand baggage size and weight limits are strictly enforced at the airport
Each bag must display a 'flydubai hand baggage' tag and your total carry-on allowance must not exceed 7 kg
Bags exceeding the permitted allowances must be checked-in and the relevant bag fee will apply
You must be able to lift your own hand baggage into the overhead locker unaided
Smaller bags must be stored under the seat in front of you keeping the overhead space free for larger bags
Due to capacity restrictions on board, if the storage availability on board is limited, you may be asked to check-in your
hand baggage at the gate
Checked baggage
You can check in bags from 3 hours to 60 minutes before you depart. If your baggage isn't checked in more than 60
minutes before take-off, you won't be allowed to take it.
You can check in up to 3 pieces if you've pre-purchased a 20 kg, 30 kg or 40 kg checked baggage allowance, but the
combined weight mustn't exceed the allowance.
No single piece should be larger than 75 cm x 55 cm x 35 cm or weigh more than 32 kg.
If you haven't pre-purchased a checked baggage allowance (or if you've exceed your allowance), you'll be charged a
per kilo rate provided there is space available for your baggage.
You can get a discount on baggage allowances if you buy up to 4 hours before you depart. For details, see our

Arriving on time
You must be at the airport 3 hours before the scheduled departure.
The flydubai hand baggage desk and the flydubai bag drop desk close 60 minutes before departure.
It can take up to 30 minutes to pass through immigration and security, and you must be at the departure gate no later
than 45 minutes before take-off.
If you're late, flydubai can't allow you to travel and can't offer alternative travel or a refund.
Changing your mind
Check on this e-receipt to see what type of fare you've bought, then see if you can change or cancel your booking.
Group fares
If you're booked as part of a group, check with the group organiser to see how your fare works, as it may be different
from the way our fares usually work.
Handling fee
flydubai's partners at our travel shops are authorized to collect a handling fee over and above the total fare shown on
your printed e-receipt or booking confirmation.
Credit card payments
We'll need to see the credit card you paid for your booking with at the airport. If your booking was paid for with
someone else's credit card, we'll need to see a photocopy of the front of the card and a photocopy of the cardholder's
passport.
If you don't have these, you won't be allowed to travel and we won't be able to offer you a refund.
A credit card can't be used to pay on behalf of someone else travelling to or from:

Ethiopia
Nepal
Pakistan
South Sudan

Important update: Travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah
Travel to Jeddah:
If you're holding a valid Umrah visa or if you're a GCC national (excluding Saudi nationals), you can travel on
our extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to and from Jeddah. These flights arrive into and depart from the Hajj
Terminal in Jeddah.
Passengers (GCC nationals and passengers with an Umrah visa) who are travelling on our extra (4 digit)
flights must check in at the Hajj Terminal - you cannot check in at the North Terminal.
Passengers with an Umrah visa and travelling on our normal (3 digit) flights must check in at the North
Terminal - you cannot check in at the Hajj Terminal
You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return from Jeddah if you're traveling on our extra
flights.
If you don't have an Umrah visa or if you're a Saudi national or a non GCC national holding a Saudi residence
permit, new employment visa, business visa or a visit visa you will not be allowed on these extra flights. You
can travel on our other flights to and from Jeddah. These flights will arrive into and depart from the Jeddah
North Terminal.
Travel to Yanbu:
If you're holding a valid Umrah visa, you can also travel to and from Yanbu.
Iraqi nationals: If you're a female traveler below the age of 50 years, you must be accompanied by a Mahram.
If you're a female traveler above the age of 50 years, you may travel without a Mahram if you're with an
organized group. The group name must be endorsed on your visa.
You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.
Travel to Taif:
If you're a GCC national holding a valid Umrah visa, you can also travel to Taif. For your return, you can also
travel from Jeddah or Yanbu.
Non-GCC nationals holding an Umrah visa cannot arrive in Taif, but you can travel to and from Jeddah or
Yanbu.
You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return
It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and
don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered. You must provide
your passport details at the time of booking.
