ABSTRACT
This report aimed at proving that vapour compression cycle can be used on the basis of solar
energy as the basis of refrigeration for homes and offices at least during day time. Though it
has been proved that this is possible, only further research can tell us whether this would
prove to be economical or not.
The Main Objective of this project can be pointed as:

Main Aim Is To Eliminate The Use Of Electricity.


Remove The Electric Heater.
Replace Heater By Solar Heater Arrangement.
Decrease pollution

The Principle involved in this project is based upon the vapour absorption refrigeration cycle
using the solar energy as a non conventional energy source as a generator.
The result is decrease in the threat of pollution, saving in the consumption of electricity and
providing of cooling effect via the refrigerator.
