Cracked Section Analysis (SAFE)

SAFE can analyze cracked concrete sections using either immediate or long-term cracked deflection methods. For long-term analysis, loads are divided into sustained and non-sustained portions to account for creep and shrinkage effects over time. Cracked section analysis in SAFE is performed by applying all loads in a single load case or by applying loads in multiple cases starting from the ending state of the previous case. User-defined reinforcement can also be specified for cracked slab deflection analysis.
