I am writing to inform you about my decision to resign from the position as a Grade 3 adviser of Bukidnon
Faith Christian School, Inc. Please consider this a formal thirty day notice.
Although I enjoy immensely working with Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc, I cannot continue because of
my higher demand to fulfil my responsibility to my parents. They are already in their weak status and it is my
responsibility to extend as much help as I could for I am the eldest. Furthermore, our house is subject to
demolition due to road widening. We are already urged to transfer but our financial resources prohibit us to do
so. As the eldest, I am burdened for I know I can do something. As I have been included in the Registry of
Qualified Applicants of DepEd, it is my inmost desire to join and accept this new journey. I must say that I have
enjoyed every moment that I have spent working for Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc. and will miss my
students very much. Had I another choice, I wouldnt have left but this opportunity is an answered prayer. I
know money must not be my reason hence teaching is not about treasure but due to financial instability and the
very thought of my parents without their home, I really need to do this tough decision.
Thank you very much for the opportunities for professional development that you have provided me throughout
my tenure at Bukidnon Faith Christian School, Inc. I want to express my deepest apology regarding this
decision. I pray the entire staff every success with their future endeavours.

Dear Ms. Hendricks:
Please accept this letter as a formal resignation from my position as a Teacher at Newark Junior School with
immediate effect. Today will be my last working day. I regret the inconvenience that this action will cause the
school but I have no choice but to go through with it.
I have not been keeping very well the last year or so and lately, this has begun to affect my work. I am no longer
able to create workable lesson plans or impart lessons like I used to. The appointment I had with my doctor
yesterday forced me to come up with this decision. I understand that my contract states that I need to provide a
one week notice of my intent to leave. Unfortunately, I will not be able to comply due to my health. I am
already in touch with the accounts office to arrange for my final salary. I understand that I will not be eligible
for any end-of-term benefits.

ovarian cancer and will soon begin treatment. I have decided that it is in the best interest of my recovery to

due to health issues. I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting treatments in the
very near future. I feel that it is best for both myself and for my students if I take some time to focus on
