Elevator Pitch:

Hi, I am Dipanshu Singh. I am a first year MBA student at UNC Kenan Flagler and I
really excited to be here at National Black
I have a total of five years of work experience in project and strategic management
roles in diverse companies like Oracle and Reliance Industries Limited. Before
joining UNC Kenan Flagler I was a project manager in network deployment. I have
run corporate command centers for procurement implementation activities,
collaborated and trained suppliers and internal customers and also coordinated with
global clients to design application user interface. In all such projects, I have gained
tremendous operational expertise and relationship management skills. I want to
supplement these skills with leadership value at the global arena so that I can
successfully transition into a career in management consulting

Why consulting?
1st reason is that consultants make quantum and transformation changes in
organizations. They are not employed for minor roles. In my previous work
experience, I was working with management consultants and I witnessed how they
worked at the forefront and reviewed both the strategic and operational aspect of
business problems. They would guide leadership teams in achieving breakthrough
performances through the impetus to take the right decisions and seamless
execution until the end objective was achieved.
2nd reason is that there is holistic leadership development in the various diverse
opportunities available across industries

I have a total of 5 years of work experience. I started my career at Oracle where I
coordinated with global banking & telecom clients and designed application user
interface for them. After 2 years

Why were you attracted to supply chain.


Couple of reasons for that. I believe that having an efficient supply chain forms the
backbone of any successful product. Working in such a critical domain really
attracted me. Additionally, I like the fast and agile decisions that have to be made in
this environment. There could be unforeseen demand, logistics issues, new

customer requirements which makes the nature of work challenging, disruptive and
innovative.

Yes, Id love to tell you more about my background.
I am one of those Indians who has either studied or
worked in all four corners of India. After graduating
from college of engineering and technology I joined
Oracle as an associate consultant. Here I interfaced
with global clients performed requirements

analysis and successfully developed user interface


applications. After that I joined Idea Cellular where
I was heading commercial strategy in my business
unit.
