Carl Rogers: en Français, Traduit Par Kate Bondareva

Carl Rogers was an American psychologist who developed client-centered therapy. The document provides biographical details about Rogers' life and education. It summarizes his theory of the actualizing tendency, which posits that all organisms have an innate motivation to develop their full potential. Rogers believed that people are inherently good and that mental health is the normal state. His theory focuses on how environmental and social factors can interfere with an individual's actualizing tendency and cause problems.
