1) Nitai Vayulekhan is 100 Times More Powerful Than Japa
Vaishnava Tantra and Sage Valmiki in Ramayana emphatically
state:
japaat shata gunam punyam
ram-naam PRALEKHANE
ram-naam PRALEKHANE
WRITING A MANTRA with visualization is 100 times more
beneficial, pious, and powerful than japa chanting.
2) Nitai Vayulekhan is Mental Japa
In Verse 158 of the 17th Chapter of Hari Bhakti Vilasa, it is
explained that visualization of the mantra-syllables is actually
mental japa, which is thousands of times more powerful than
audible japa:
dhiyaa yad AKSHARA shrenya
VARNAAD varnam padaat padam
shabdaartha CHINTANaabhyaasah
sa ukto maanaso japah 158
Manasa Japa or mental chanting means the repeated practice,
meditation, and VISUALIZATION of the shape and meaning of
each and every SYLLABLE of a Mantra in ones heart as one
slowly progresses from one syllable to the next.
3) Nitai Vayulekhan Quickly Grants All Cherished Desires
Brihan-Naradiya Purana states:
smarnaat kirtanaacchaiva
shravanal LEKHANAAD api
DARSHAN DHAARNAAdev
ram-naam akhileshtadam
All the innermost desires of a person are fulfilled by
remembering, loudly chanting, hearing, WRITING, SEEING, and
VISUALIZING the syllables of the holy name of Ram.
4) Lord Gauranga Himself Did Lekhan or Writing the Holy Name
In Shri Chaitanya Bhagavat Adi-khanda 6.5-6, Shrila Vrindavan
das Thakur writes:
NIRANTAR LIKHENA krishnera NAAM mala
rama, krishna, murari, mukunda, vanamali
AHAR-NISHA LIKHENA, padhena kutuhalim
Lord Gauranga CONSTANTLY WROTE the NAMES of Krishna
DAY AND NIGHT with blissful delight.
5) The Air From Nitais Name Grants Krishna to Everyone
Chaitanya Bhagavat, Madhya Khanda 12.58 states:
IHAANA VAAATAASA laagibeka jaara gaaya
taahaareo krishna naa chaadibe sarvathaaya
Krishna will never ever leave a person who is touched by the AIR
which has touched NITAI (or touched the syllables of which
are non-different than Nitai Himself).
6) Visualizing Nitais Name Enchants Every Soul
Chaitanya Bhagavat, Antya Khanda 5.357 states:
DARSHAN maatra sarva-jiva mugdha haya
NAAM-tattva duinityananda-rasa-maya
All living entities became enchanted in love and bliss when they
SEE NITAIS NAME or form because They are both infinitely full
of bliss and love.
7) Holy Name is Written on the Body to Become Dear to the Lord
The Lord Himself states in the Hari Bhakti Vilasa 4.294:
dvaadashaAKSHAR mantraistu
niyuktaani kalevare
aayudhaani cha viprasya
mat SAMAH sa ca vaishnavah
A devotee whose body is decorated with the twelve-syllable
mantra or the SYLLABLES of the holy name is respected by Me
as My EQUAL and only he or she is worthy to be called a
Vaishnava.
8) Syllable Form of God is the Supreme Absolute Truth
Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakur states in Gitavali, Namashtakam,
Song 2:
jaya jaya harinam
chidaanandaamrita-dham
PARA-TATTVA AKSHAR-AAKAAR
All glories, all glories to the holy name of the Lord, the divine
abode of eternal transcendental bliss! The SYLLABLE-FORM of
the Name is the SUPREME ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
9) The Syllables of the Name are More Merciful than the Lord
Himself
Shrila Rupa Goswami states in Namashtakam, Verse 6:
vaachyam VAACHAKAM ity udeti bhavato naam svaupa
dvayam
purvasmaat param eva hanta KARUNAM tatraapi jaanimahe
Please understand that the SYLLABLE-FORM of the Lord is
more MERCIFUL than the bodily form of the Lord as one can
worship it any time without any rules and regulations.
10) Seeing the Syllables of the Name is the Same as Seeing the
Lord
In the Valmiki Ramayan, Sundara Kanda, Chapter 36, Verses 2-4,
it is stated:
ram nam ANKITAM cha idam PASHYA devi anguliyakam
bhartaaram iva sampraataa jaanaki muditaa abhavat
BEHOLDING the syllables holy name of Ram CARVED on the
ring presented by Hanuman, Sita felt as if She was personally
seeing Her Supreme Lord Ram Himself.
11) In the Ramayan, even the stones thrown by Lord Ram
Himself drowned in the sea, but the stones with Rams Name
written on them floated. This proves that the syllable-form of the
Lord (akshar-parabrahma) is MORE POWERFUL than the Lord
Himself.
12) The demigod Ganapati wrote the name of Krishna in Sanskrit
on a tulasi leaf and went around it. Due to this, he is still being
worshiped before other demigods because he was considered the
first to circumambulate not just our universe but the creation,
since the syllable-form of the Lord INCLUDES THE WHOLE
CREATION within.
13) A devotee came to Shrila Gaurkishor das Babaji and told Him
that he had been chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra for quite
some time but he was not feeling the desired advancement and
realizations. Babaji Maharaj asked Him to write the Hare Krishna
Mahamantra in big size in his house and to deeply meditate on
each and every syllable while chanting the Mahamantra. He gave
that person a guaranteed assurance that he will see Lord
Shyamsundar face to face WITHIN ONE YEAR if he did what he
had suggested. This proves that visualization of the syllable-form
of the Lord grants perfection in Harinam in a very short time.

presenting the following 13 scriptural proofs to establish the

PS. NITAI VAYULEKHAN PROCESS: Write the 10 Sanskrit
strokes of (the Nitai mantra in Sanskrit) one by one in the
air in large size with your forefinger in the sequence shown while
minutely visualizing every inch of each stroke via the persistence
of vision as you write in the air in front of you. You can do it with
closed, half-closed, or open eyes, whichever helps you to
mentally or externally visualize each stroke in the most clearest
manner. Repeat for at least one round (108 times) daily. You
could do more rounds for increasing your offenseless love for
Harinam and Gaur Radha Krishna even faster! You may rest your
elbow on a surface while writing in the air, take breaks, do it at
any time and place in any condition, remember the meanings of
each stroke, and hear the Holy Names (but not chant or sing)
while doing it.
