Comprehensive Classroom Management Plan and Agreement
Class Rules:
1. Respect yourself and your classmates at all times.
2. Turn all homework in, even if its late.
3. Arrive to class prepared and on time.
4. Put your name on all of your papers.
5. Enter and exit the room quietly and in an orderly fashion.
Rationale:
1. Just as you wish to be listened to and treated with respect, so do others.
2. In regards to homework, it is better to make an effort even if its wrong, and to
turn it in better late than never.
3. It is hard to catch up to lessons when you miss part of them, so try to be on time!
4. When we forget to write our names on papers, its hard to tell whos is whos and
grades could be mixed up.
5. Its hard to know what to do or where to go when everyone is being loud and
crowded together.
Consequences:
1. Verbal warning
2. Private conference, and phone call to parent/guardian
3. Referral to office
Rewards:
1. 90% attendance for entire class- outdoor field day each semester
2. Extra recess time
3. Background music during arrival and Do Now time periods
This information will be shared with parents at the Open House, emailed to them, and
two copies will also be sent home. One copy is for families to keep and review. The
second copy must be signed by the parent/guardian and returned to the teacher, where it
will be kept on file.
