Recruitment of the Project Staff will be through written test & Interview (JRF) under the DST-Sponsored
Project of 2 year and 8 month duration.

Duties and responsibilities:


1. Research work, communicating research work to conferences and journals.
2. Guiding M.Tech./B.Tech. student projects jointly with the project investigator.
3. Teaching assistantship to the project investigator.
4. Implementing research ideas into software tools.
5. Any other duties that may be assigned by the project Investigator.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The above position is purely contractual for a period of 2 year and 8 month.
2. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
3. Selected candidates will be called for written test. Selected candidates based on the result of written test will be
called for interview.
4. Filled in application form (soft copy only) must be sent to [email protected] email by no later than
September 24, 2016. Subject of the email should contain APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Junior
Research Fellow.
5. Must attach self attested scanned copies of the certificates without which the application will be rejected.
6. Selected candidates will be intimated through email by 25th September 2016.
7. Candidate must bring with him/her the signed hard copy of the duly filled application form.
8. Written test and interview will be held on: September 29, 2016 at 10 AM. Venue: Dept. of CSE, NIT
Meghalaya
9. Candidates reaching late will not be entertained.
