Google learns some of your preferred apps

For some of these voice actions, when you dont mention the app name in your request (for example, you only
say scan my receipt), youll see a card in the search results with a button that will allow you to launch the app.
If you request this action several times and tap the button each time, Google will learn that you prefer launching
the app and will not ask you again. If you prefer to be asked each time before launching the app:
1. Say or type the voice action.
2. Cancel by touching
3. Repeat a few times.
The app will no longer launch automatically, and will appear in search results again, in some
cases after a few minutes.
These actions are available in English in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada,
India, Ireland, Singapore, and South Africa.Your device needs to have the Google app 4.0 or
higher with Web & App Activity turned on.

Cortana can also be asked a few questions that will be retrieved from Web searches conducted directly from the
Windows Start Menu without the need to open a browser. Here are some examples:

Working with Bing, Cortana can deliver more amazing results. Cortana is integrated with the browser edges as
well, in addition to the Start menu. Here are some questions that use Bing to deliver results:

Show me the Indian restaurants in the vicinity

Show me pictures of people watching Mobile TV

When is the next basketball game?

Whats the population of the United States?

If you want to use Google instead of Bing, use the extension Bing2Google or AutoRemote plugin both of which
allow you to give instructions to Cortana and get results from Google products. It's a method for utilizing
Google Now capabilities via Cortana. Here are some examples:

Where's my package?

When fights and Brew close?

What is tonsillitis?
~~For more see GoogleNow commands list section~~

NOTE: You can also type commands to Cortana for text searches or running of programs/controls at anytime.
