Red Hat CentOS Join Forces

Red Hat and the CentOS Project are joining forces to expand the scope of CentOS and drive more open source innovation. This will allow CentOS to serve as a platform for emerging technologies like OpenStack and big data projects. CentOS will establish new governance and build processes to accept more contributions and variations. It will also streamline the user experience and release driven by additional projects like OpenStack. This expanded CentOS Project aims to get more technologies into the hands of the community and speed open source innovation.
