Nov.7- Nov.

Some of the skills we will continue to work on are rhyming words, syllables,
unscrambling words to form sentences, sight words, and beginning sounds. We will spend
some time recognizing the importance of our Veterans and how we can thank them as well as
the meaning of Thanksgiving.
Math will be busy, busy. One of our goals for this 9 weeks will be to count to 50 by 1s.
Make sure you are practicing counting at home. We will also be learning to recognize and
write numbers 11-20. We will continue to use manipulatives and white boards to practice,
practice, and practice. We will continue to review triangles, squares, rectangles and circles
and their attributes.
We will be having a Food Drive November 7th to 11th. The grade level with the most
food items will have a pajama party. Boxes will be set up in the hallway for each grade level
