Dear Parents and Carers of Year 5 children,
Y5 Parents Maths Workshop Monday 28th November 3:30 4:15pm
Next Monday we will be holding a Parents Workshop on Place Value in Maths in Mr. Moats
classroom. It will begin at 3:30pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.
The aim of the session is to cover what your child will learn in this area of Maths in Year 5, how they
learn it and, hopefully, to provide you with some ideas and strategies to support your childs
learning at home.
The workshop will be an informal, hands-on session all we ask is that you pretend to be a 10year old child for a short while!
This is the first of three sessions, with workshops in English and a different area of Maths to follow
in the Spring term.
