RELIGIOUS PLACES IN CHHATTISGARH
There are quite a large number of Holy Places in Chhattisgarh.

the world and from all over India visit these holy places in
Chhattisgarh. The popular Holy Places in Chhattisgarh, India
include Gandheswar Temple, Champaran, Laxman Temple,
Rajivalochan Temple, Ram Tekri, Radha Krishna Temple,
Swastik Vihar, Temples of Ratanpur, Pataleswar Kedar Temple,

Maa Danteshwari Temple
The Danteshwari Temple serves as the most important
spiritual centre for the people of this region, owing to its rich
sculptural and architectural wealth and its vibrant festive
traditions.
Dudhadari Temple
Mahant Shri Balbhadra dasji established this Math however
the date of his Raipur stay is still not clear. It is said that Shri
Balbhadra was highly devoted to Lord Hanuman. During his
stay in Raipur, he used to worship a stone as if it was Lord
Mahaveer himself.
Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple
Maa Bamleshwari Devi temple is located at Dongargarh, Distt
Rajnandgaon, in Chhatisgarh state. There are two temples of
Goddess, one on the top of a hill (approx 1600 ft high) and one on
the ground respectively known as Bari mata and chhoti
Bamleshwari Mata.
Mahamaya Temple
Mahamaya Temple is temple dedicated to dual Goddess Lakshmi
and Saraswati, located in Ratanpur a small city full of temples
and ponds in Bilaspur district. The Mahamaya temple is built in
Nagara style of architecture and is one of the 52 Shakti Peethas
in India.
Shivani Maa Temple
Shivani temple, also known as the Shivani Maa temple is one of
the oldest temples in Kanker, dedicated to dual Goddess
combination of two Goddess name Kali Maa and Durga Maa.
The vertically half part is of goddess Kali and the remaining half
part is of goddess Durga.
Ganga Maiya Temple
Ganga Maiya is a holy place situated in Jhalmala and is one of
the famous places in the city. This place is very crowded during
the Navratri celebrated twice a year,thousands of people visit this
place by walking from long distance.
Chandrahasini Devi Temple
The ancient temple of Goddess Devi Maa Chandrahasini Temple
is situated on the bank of Mahanadi in Janjgir district of
Chhattisgarh. Chandrahasini Devi Temple is an important
tourist landmark for the near by city of Raigarh.
