Reflection 2

I prepared activities for three different ability levels to teach children about the number 10. I started with a lesson plan and used old materials. The goals were for the children to learn to write the number 10 and distinguish it from other numbers. The activities included identifying number 10 cards, adding hearts to equal 10, writing the number 10, making the number with sticks, singing a number 10 song with movements, and drawing hair to equal 10 on a picture. The children enjoyed the interactive lesson.

Reflection (Number 10)

I chose number 10 for the children. I prepare for the lesson different activities for three different
levels of the high, medium and low level. I started my work with a lesson plan to help me to deliver
information in a sequential and easy ways to the children, I used my old lesson plan . I had several
outcomes they were: The ability to write number 9 and know the differentiate between the number 10
and the rest of the numbers in an easy way. First, I put many numbers in front of me then I told the
children to take out number 10 so, there was a student from high-level her name was Maitha extracted
number 10. Then I asked them about what we will study today so, they told me Number 10. Then I paste
3 hearts and I asked them how many hearts should I add to be 10 hearts. After that I wrote on the board
number 10 to show them how to write it. Next, I gave each of them 2 flexible poles to make number 10
to see if they know number 10 in interesting way. After that I put for them a number 10 song and I let
them did like the movement in the song. Then, I wrote to them on the whiteboard the number again. To
make sure that everyone know how to write number 10. I distributed to every one papers that had boy
with three hairs and they should draw more to be 10 hairs. The children felt interesting and they
enjoyed the lesson.
