WT-01, 3 Track Sliding Windows with 6mm Thick Glass.
Design, Fabrication,Supply, Installation,Protection, Cleaning & Handover of Sliding Windows
in 3 track with Mesh Shutter,system inline with window location requirement custom
designed to with stand the design wind pressure confirming to IS -875 part III. (The system
must pass the proof test at 1.2 times design wind pressure without any failure). The system shall
have drainage gutter profile at bottom track with the possibility of drain container of minimum
20-25mm storage space, wool pile with silent film for weather protection and complete air seal.
The shutter engagement shall be minimum of 12mm at top and bottom track to ensure stability
under deflection of vertical mullions. The track profile to be designed to ensure smooth
movement of the shutter with the rollers of needle bearings or ball bearing,
The system shall be designed to accomodate European accessories with Heavy duty roller
assembly considering the weight of the shutters and flush type lock with manual operation.
Microwave cured EPDM gaskets to accomodate glass thickness as per structural requirement,
weather sealants, top & bottom shutter guides, anticapillary at interlock junction for proper
sealaing, SS 316 grade screws of approved make, all in complete required to perform as per
specification and drawing in conjunction with BOQ. Complete system shall be warranteed for
minimum 10 yrs against design & workmanship defects.
The system shall be designed to accomodate 6mm thk glass Annealed Glass. Each glass shall
have adequate hard EPDM supports at bottom inside the shutter frame to support the dead load
of the glass.
The extruded aluminium sections of Alloy 6063 T5 / T6 & tolerances confirming to DIN / EN
standard from approved extruder. The structural profiles shall have minimum 2.0 - 2.5mm wall
thickness.
All the Internal & External visible surfaces shall have Approved Powder Coating finish 50 -60
Microns. The non visible aluminium surfaces shall have minimum chromatizing treatment. D220
The quote rate shall include all design, engineering & shop drawing approval from architect &
consultant. The quote rate shall include all Taxes, duties, statutory obligations and safety code
compliance as per PMC.

WT-01, 3 Track Sliding Windows with 5mm Thick Glass.
Providing and fixing of Aluminium sliding windows as per the elevation drawings enclosed,
fabricated out of heavy duty aluminium extruded profiles ( JINDAL / HINDALCO/
BHORUKA ) Powder coated as per approved shade (50 - 60 micron) and specification with
5mm thick Clear Annealed glass including providing Masking Tapes on the profiles for safety
against external scratches at site (Masking Tapes to be removed only at the time of handing
over as per the instructions of Project Team).
The fabrication shall be done with all the joints mitred; the Outer Frames and Mullions jointed
with appropriate Stainless Steel Screws Appropriate profiles of EPDM gaskets shall be inserted
between aluminium frames/beadings and glass; as well as both inside and outside around the
periphery of the shutters, to make the windows air and water tight.The fixing shall be done on
existing aluminium rough ground (already fixed and paid separately) at anchorage locations, in
jambs, sills and heads by drilling holes with an electric drill, inserting PVC sleeves and Stainless
Steel counter sunk screws/Anchor Fasteners of appropriate size to provide a required
anchoring in the masonry as per structural stability requirement.
The entire periphery shall be sealed by application of approved weather silicon sealant between
the aluminium and masonry from both outside and inside to make the windows water
tight.(Cost of glass including labour element for glass, stacking,carrying to heights and fixing in
appropriate locations is to be included in the rate) as per the details given below:-

fabrications, including cutting to proper shape and size, drilling and aligning of window shutter
frame fitted with in built locking arrangement;hiding nylon rollers and other necessary fittings,
fixture, adhesives and joineries along with extruded EPDM gasketing in between window frame
and masonry work (walls, column, beam,lintels etc.) as well as between glass and shutter and
window frame where necessary including cutting to requisite size and fixing of 5 mm Thick

make or approved equivalent with Single point locking mechanism to keep the vent weather
tight. The vent shall comprise of Aluminium outer frame with drainage provisions and crimped
corner and shutter frame with Euro grooves and crimped corners, all joints shall be sealed with
small joint sealant. The outer frame fixed to the Semi -unitized profile system with necessary SS
screws and weather sealant applied at outside and inside of profile duly Powder Coated of 5060 micron thickness as per Approved shade by Architect.
