TechBarnWireless - Modulation Order, MCS, and TBS

The document discusses modulation order, MCS index, and transport block size (TBS) in LTE. It explains that the MCS index determines the modulation order for PDSCH and PUSCH according to tables in TS36.213. For PDSCH, the MCS index maps to a TBS index and size. For PUSCH, the MCS index determines the TBS index to find the TBS. It also describes how 64QAM and 256QAM can be used if supported between the UE and eNB.
