NATIONAL CHILDRENS MONTH CELEBRATION


(Narrative Report)

The National Childrens Month Celebration in November, this year


carries the theme Isulong; Kalidad na Edukasyon Para sa Lahat ng Bata! which
highlights childrens rights to education and encourage stakeholders to advocate
inclusive and equitable life-long learning opportunities for all children. Schoolbased activities are encouraged in schools which may include integration of child
rights in HEKASI/Araling Panlipunan subjects and symposia on: Day Against
Child Labor, Child Safety Canpaign, Whistle Campaign against Drug Abuse,
Disaster Risk Reduction, among other issues affecting welfare of pupils/students.
The Malaubang Integrated School, like most schools, conducted a
Culmination Program on the 29th of November participated by the pupils
themselves and it was a justifiable celebration.
The said program started at 3:00 PM with their interpretative dance opening
prayer by a Grade 6 Pupils followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The
School Principal made a welcome message and at the same time the formal
opening of the National Childrens Month Celebration. An intermission number
given from a Grade 6 Pupils. Presentations from the different grade levels were
seen and was applauded by the audiences.
Different activities were done in the said celebration. One of those was a
dance presentation, role-playing, and other presentations were done to strengthen
students ability and skills to become a productive citizens in the country and a
well-versed consumers of Malaubang Integrated School. Those were made into
reality through the love and determination of the HEKASI/ Araling Palipunan
Teachers.
It was really educational and useful event for the part of the students and the
teachers as well.
