Performance 1: You should all have your instrument with you and have

completed some research (HW) about it.


In order to give you some practice at being in front of other people you
are going to demonstrate your instrument and its capabilities to us.

2 minute demonstration on:

how your instrument works

how it makes a sound/the types of sound possible

specialist techniques (strumming, picking, bowing, etc)


the range
styles (can you play us a musical extract to demonstrate
different types of music possible on your instrument?)
anything else to make your demonstration interesting
Optional: You can work in groups (2-4) but ONLY with people who play the
same instrument.
