CLASS DESCRIPTION
The students in this elementary class are between 12-13 years old. They are in the fourth year of
English, so they are still learning English grammar and vocabulary. They have shown enthusiasm
and they seem keen on learn new things and words. They still have problems of pronunciation,
but they try to express themselves as well as they can.

Anticipated Problems:
The students may not read very well in English, they still have problems with the pronunciation
and they might not fully understand the requested tasks stated by the teacher due to their little
knowledge of the English language.

AIMS:
to revise their knowledge of the pronunciation
to complete tasks of vocabulary practice

OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


use the vocabulary acquired in the previous class
use their knowledge of the English language to solve the dilemma in the play
put some questions to their classmates and respond at some question about the play

PROCEDURE

Warm-up Interaction: T Ss; Ss T/IW

Speaking
The teacher greets the students, checks attendance and makes sure that the conditions are proper
for the lesson to begin.

Speaking
The teacher states the subject of the lesson, writing it on the blackboard, raising students
curiosity this way.

Activity 1: Getting the class ready for the play Interaction: T Ss; Ss T/PW

Speaking: Teacher asks students to arrange the class in order that the play can take place and
after the students are ready the play can start.

Activity 2: The start of the play Interaction: Ss T, Ss Class, T-Ss

We have a Ss in the right part of the class playing the boss, 3 Ss in the left side of
the class, the workers and a Ss entering in the class with a strange package.

The currier : This is for Gill Gilbert.

The 1st worker: There is no one here with that name.

The curierr: what do you mean? Is this 134 5th Avenue?

The 2nd worker: Yes but there is no one here with that name!

The currier: well I do not care.

The 3rd worker goes to the boss

The 3rd worker: Boss boss come and see something

The boss: What now? Im very busy Angel, what what what?

The 3rd worker: Come and seeeee


The boss: OK OK IM COMMING!!! Sorry Taylor, Ill get back to you.I do not know
what the package could be but take care.

The boss entering in the room with the package and the employees.

The boss: What is that?

The currier: Are you the one in charge?

The boss: Yes. Why?

The currier: Well this is the package.

The boss: I did not order anything. And aaa Gill Gilbert is not here animore

The first employee: Animore? There was no one named like that ever!

The currier: Look you guies, I have lots of deliveres to do, so someone just sign
here so I can go.

The 2nd worker: Ill sighn it. And it signs and the currier lives. They keep looking
at the boss and wait for explenations, but they dont arive.

The 2nd worker: WELL? WHO IS GILL GILBERT AND WHY IS THIS PACKAGE HERE?

The boss: She was my wife... we started this magazine together but she died in the
fire that distroied our first headquarters. But it was 10 years ago. What can it be?

The 1st worker: Lets open it!

The 2nd worker: And be done with it. We have a lot to do. Boss do you want to do
it?

The boss: No one moves it! Call Lt. McGarret!

The 1st worker: Ill do it! It has been a wile, i would reeeeaaaly want to see him. Hi
Lt. McGarret? Im Suzzy Salvatore from Glamore magasine. Can you come to our
headquarters? We have a strange package.

Lt. : Yes. Be right there.

After 20 minutes of staring at the package and the boss pasing in his office, Lt.
McGarret: I do not see anithing wrong with it, and I believe you can oppen it. May
I?

The boss, that meanwile came out of his office: Yes Steve, please.

Lt. : Ok everyone get back a bit. The package is opened and in it was a note and
some pictures. On the note was the next message: Remember me honey? Im
comming home. Gill

The boss: What the hell?

Lt. : Marvin? What is going on? I was at Gills funeral.

The boss: I....

The 1st worker: That is AWSOME! and everyone turnes to the 1st worker..... Sorry,
I was just...
The 2nd worker: I know what you are thinking, and it is crazy. There are no such
thing as vampires and werewolfs and things like that. Ok?

The 1st worker: But just think about it for one second. I

The boss: NO. THAT IS ENOUGH! I DO NOT WHHANT TO HERE ANITHING....

THE END OF THE PLAY...

Activity 3: Impresions.

T ask the rest of the Ss what was their oppinion about the play and about the way
their classmates payed and are invitet to ask some questions themselves.

Activity 4: homework assigment T-Ss

Finish the play, does Gill come back? Or is just a cruel joke from the competition?
