This document provides guidelines for online submission of a project synopsis and guide acceptance form. Students must enter their project synopsis and guide details in the appropriate sections of the online form. They can select an existing approved guide by entering the guide's registration number and contact details, or select a new guide and enter the guide's qualifications and experience for verification. Guidelines for Online submission of 'Project Synopsis and Guide Acceptance'

Please read the below instructions carefully before proceeding further:

This is an online process. Enter the Project Synopsis and the Guide details in
the appropriate section.

You can get registered a Project Guide of your choice who meets the
University criteria.

Project Guide's must get registered with the University. This is a onetime
process. For details refer the Project Guidelines.

If your Project Guide is already approved (choose Existing Guide option) -


then you need to know his Guide Registration number (issued by the
University) and Contact number to fill the online form.

If your Project Guide is not registered then choose 'New Guide' option and
proceed to fill his details.

When entering the New Guide detail, a message will pop-up if the Guide
details provided by you match with the details of an Existing Guide in the
University database. In such case you need to click 'Back' button to select
'Existing Guide option' to proceed

Only in the case of New Guide Registration, the 'Guide Qualification and
Experience Certificates are to be uploaded for verification by the University

Complete the online 'Synopsis and Guide Acceptance' form in all respects.

Take print of the completed 'Synopsis and Guide Acceptance'. Both Student
and Guide should sign the form.

Incomplete forms and forms without the signatures will not be processed.

Scanned copy of this Printed Form is to be uploaded for approval by the


University Project Steering Committee.

File formats supported to upload 'Synopsis and Guide Acceptance form'


are.doc, .docx and .pdf only

File formats supported to upload 'Guide Qualification and Experience


Certificates' are.zip and .rar only

The upload file size should not exceed 3MB.


Project Synopsis once submitted cannot be withdrawn.

Multiple submission of Project Synopsis is not allowed.

Ensure that you provide a valid e-mail id and contact number to receive
confirmation message on approval/ resubmission.

All submitted Project Synopsis will be processed by the Project Steering


Committee.

Approval will be accorded for synopsis which follow the Project Guidelines.

Synopsis which do not adhere to the guidelines has to be resubmitted for


approval again.

Possible reasons for Synopsis resubmission could be

Guide Not Approved

Project Synopsis not signed by Guide/ Student

Guide Details not matching the existing record

Change in Title

Additional Explanation needed

Scope of work needs to be enhanced

Any Other reason

If your Project Synopsis is rejected, you need to resubmit both the Project
Synopsis and Guide details

You can see the status (Not Submitted/ Submitted/ IN-Review/ Approved/
Rejected) of your Project Synopsis in you EduNxt Login.

E-mail intimation will be sent to both the Student and the Guide.
