Any advice foraspirants: 1.No matter what your cgpa is, have courage to dream big and chase
your dreams.

2. Focus in GRE writing.Extremely high (above 330) score in GRE with poor score in writing
(below 3.5)is less effective than 320+ (V 155+ ,M 165+ ) with a high score in writing(above 4).
Having a balanced score gives your application more solid base, sopractice writing seriously.
Better GRE score can overcome average CG. Do notmemorize words like parrots, try to read
good english story books and pick upwords and strengthen vocabs. If you can afford to invest
money after GRE, thenbuy Magoosh and use it. Will prepare you a lot for real GRE exam as it
has goodtime management system, progress tracking , videos to explain certain thingsand most
importantly - real feel of GRE. 3. Practice speaking for TOEFLusing TPO software, and check
the techniques from noteful.

4. Focus onwriting a good statement of purpose. Do not copy paste. Keep it simpleand real.
Establish what you want to do and why, and what made you choose thisparticular place. To not
state too much research areas and try to hiteverybody, rather be direct. If you like a particular
professor in auniversity, make an impression that you have studied his work. Be creative. Donot
try to show off your english skills. Do not use the one-size-fit-for-allapproach for writing
multiple SOP. Take time, but try to customize SOP for eachplace as much as possible. Even if
your CGPA is extremely low, if you can makea good impression on SOP, you have a solid
chance of getting in.

5. Most importantly,do not be disheartened by rejection. Stop looking at what others are doing
andgo do what you want to do. If you believe you can do it, you are halfwaythere.

Any advice for aspirants: Pharmacy graduates, when applying to off track (i.e biomedical
sciences/ molecular biology/ developmental biology) be cautious. I was rejected by all
