Tutorial 1
Warm Up Games
Keepers Of
Students are divided into two groups. They are then asked to
send half the team to one square and
the other to one square.
The aim of the game is to keep the ball
of the opposition and to count as
many consecutive passes can be
achieved in one minute.
Tag
Teams stay the same as mentioned above. The aim of this
activity is to tag the opposition with the
ball. Students must pass the ball between
team mates and are not allowed to run
with the ball.
Stationary Passing
Working in pairs students will pass the ball between each other.
Students begin facing the same way they will then complete 20
passes. After this completed the students will make 20 passes
facing the other direction.
KTPs Passing
- Elbow high
- Fingers spread
- Point at the target after passing
Cone Passing
Working in groups of 4. Students will
run forward and pass backwards to the
player next to them.
They must make sure to point at the
target and run straight.
Group Passing
Students will work in groups of 5.
Starting behind their individual
cone they will run forward and
pass along the line. They need to
focus on passing backwards.
When the ball reaches the last
player they will pop the ball up to
their classmate running forward.
This process will be repeated.
Looping
Player 1 passes to player
2 (step 1), this player then
passes to player 3 (step
2). Player 2 then runs
behind player 3 and
receives the pass back
(step 3). Player 3 then
passes to the last player.
10 v 10 Game of Touch
Compete in a game of touch football with the full set of rules
being applied

Tutorial 3
Students were allocated groups prior to the lesson. The teams
were then distributed bibs and participated in a round robin
tournament. The team that was not participating had to referee
the game and provide a scorer, two touch judges and two
game referees.
