following three points:
A description of your duties and/or description of your responsibilities with each activity.
The length of time you have been involved with each activity.
The length of time you usually commit to each activity on a weekly basis.
If you are a second semester freshman, only list the activities from your senior year in high school and freshman year at
Loyola. If you are a sophomore or junior, only list activities from your time at Loyola.

Essay Questions:
Please answer all three questions below. While there is no length requirement, please make your answers thoughtful and thorough, not
exceeding 4 pages. Your responses should be typed and included with your application.
1. Please talk about a social issue of most concern for you. What do you understand to be its root causes and its potential solutions? Why
are you passionate about this particular issue?
2. Please share a story about a time when you directly experienced or observed a social injustice. How did you respond? How
did the experience impact you?
3. Please tell us how you think participating in the Social Justice Internship Grant Program will benefit your personal, educational, and
professional aspirations.
