Lesson Plan 2 Habitat

This science lesson plan for grade 1 students focuses on different types of habitats. The learning outcome is for students to describe habitat characteristics and recognize that different organisms live in different habitats. The teacher will introduce the lesson with songs about habitats and ask questions to engage students. Students will then participate in three small group activities where they create paintings on paper plates depicting the desert, ocean, and forest habitats. To close the lesson, the teacher will play a game to assess students' understanding of matching animals to their correct habitats.
