PARTS OF COMPUTER

MOUSE

A computer mouse is a pointing device (hand control) that detects two-dimensional


motion relative to a surface. This motion is typically translated into the motion of a
pointer on a display, which allows a smooth control of the graphical user interface.

SPEAKER

Computer speakers, or multimedia speakers, are speakers sold for use with computers,
although usually capable of other audio uses, e.g. for an MP3 player
COMPUTER SYSTEM UNIT

A typical desktop computer consists of a computer system unit, a keyboard,


a mouse, and a monitor. The computer system unit is the enclosure for all
the other main interior components of a computer. It is also called the
computer case, computer chassis, or computer tower.

MONITOR

A computer monitor or a computer display is an electronic visual display for


computers. A monitor usually comprises the display device, circuitry,
casing, and power supply. ... Older monitors used a cathode ray tube
(CRT).
COMPACT DISK

a small plastic disc on which music or other digital information is stored,


and from which the information can be read using reflected laser light.

THUMB DRIVE

Alternatively referred to as a USB flash drive, data stick, pen drive, memory
unit, key chain drive and thumb drive, a jump drive is a portable storage
device. It is often the size of a human thumb (hence the name), and it
connects to a computer via a USB port.
KEYBOARD

In computing, a computer keyboard is a typewriter-style device which uses


an arrangement of buttons or keys to act as a mechanical lever or
electronic switch. Following the decline of punch cards and paper tape,
interaction via teleprinter-style keyboards became the main input device for
computers.

PRINTER

A printer is a piece of hardware for a computer. It allows a user to print


items on paper, such as letters and pictures. Mostly a printer prints under
the control of a computer. Many can also work as a copying machine or
with a digital camera to print directly without using a computer.
