Course Learning Outcomes

1. Explain the concept of teaching as a profession and characteristics of a teacher as a professional. (C2, LO1, LO8, EM1)

2. Discuss critically issues on teachers ethics and integrity with reference to teachers code of ethics, accountability and integrity. (C4, LO3, LO8,

3. Interpret the teachers role as a leader who is a professional based on the teachers development stages of and with reference to various relevant

This project is to assess the Learning Outcomes 2 and 3.


Project Assignment Objectives :

Students can :

1. Make reading, reference and information gathering. Make plans to enhance his/her professionalism as a teacher.

2. Analyzing and applying the information obtained in a single course work.

3. Make appropriate interpretation and justification by submitting evidence and support based on the diversity and reference source available.

Students need to perform the following tasks :

ASSIGNMENT 1 : Academic Writing : Individual (30%)

The theme of National Teachers Day 2017 is "Master Builder of the State of the Nation."

Evaluate the role of master teacher in realizing and achieving the desire specified in the theme. (1600 words)

ASSIGNMENT 2 : Critical Review : Individual (20%)

In the increasing challenging world of education, as an educator, a teacher has to master the subjects that he teaches although not specialized in
that subjects.

Analysis the effects of this statement in the process of teaching and learning based on the theories of awareness/ concern. (1000 words)

Assignment Instructions :

i. The overall length of your assignments as follows :


a. Assignment 1 - Individual : 1600 words.
b. Assignment 2 - Individual : 1000 words.

ii. Arial font - size 11, 1.5 spaced typewritten.


iii. The cover page (dark-yellow) should include :
a. Students name

f. Lecturers name
g. Submission date

iv. Please attached Lampiran 2 - Coursework Feedback Form on the first page of your assignment.

v. References according to APA format (American Psychological Association) sixth edition. (Sources suggested from 3 books, 3 internet, 3
jurnals, 2 other printed materials) and attach a list of references for the two tasks separately.

vi. This assignments scores 100 marks and 50% weightage.

vii. Assignments should demonstrate originality, maturity and of academic quality. Plagiarism is not allowed.
