1. Scouting month is celebrated by Boy Scout of the Philippines during the month of
October of every year as declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 39, s. 1947. In
connection with this, we would like to ensure to perform our duty to take part in the 80th
year anniversary of BSP with the theme: Peace and development through scouting
2. Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2007 on revitalizing the Boy Scouting
movement in the schools, our office encourages all registered Boy Scouts within our
school to strongly support all the activities of the Boy Scout of the Philippines in line with
this years scouting Month Celebration.
3. The weekly themes and suggested activities are as follows:
A. October 1-3 - Inculcating Moral, Spiritual and Traditional Values
a. October 1 - 5:45 Sunrise Parade. Observe proper dress code
of our scouts and Teachers
Banner to be use by each grade
Grade 1 The scout is Trustworthy and Loyal
Grade 2 The Scout is Helpful and Friendly
Grade 3 The Scout is Courteous and Kind
Grade 4 The Scout is Obedient and Cheerful
Grade 5 The Scout is Thrifty and Brave
Grade 6 The Scout is Clean and Reverent
b. Parade will be followed by a short opening program to be hosted by the institutional
head

Patrol and Troop meetings, preparation of songs,
Tree planting and Community Service.

9:00 A.M. Girl Scout Investiture Ceremony
10:30 A.M. Boy Scout Investiture Ceremony
October 12-17 - United we stand, divided, we fall
Team building, Games and finding the treasure
October 19-24 - Health and Fitness Through outdoor Activities
Earthquake and Fire Drill, evacuation and First Aid
School Boy and Girl Scout Camp
October 26 November 6 - Patrol and Troop meetings
Preparation of camp equipment for regional jamboree
4. All Boys and Girls of this institution are encourage to join and register as member of
BSP team. Girls can wear boy Scouts uniform and join the activities whatever levels it
may be provided, that she is registered in the BSP.
5. Countercheck the attached document testifying all registered teachers and Boy
Scouts of our school.
6. Practice of Registered Scout tomorrow September 30, 2015 at 11 10:30 A.M.
onwards. Please advise all afternoon session scouts to come early so they could attend
the practice.

Please be advised to encourage all our male potential from LANGKAY, KAB and
BOY Scouts to register to fill up your down-line members so that you will be entitled for
endorsement promotion in scouting at the end of school year.
The registration will cost Php 50.00 for LANGKAY, KAB and BOY Scouts. It is a
must for the teachers to register even you are a Girl Scout outfit advisor. Registration is
Php 60.00. Lastly, institutional head shall be registered also which will be amounting to
Php 100.00. With this, we ensure that our support to the scouting movement will merit
valuable recognition.
Attached herewith is the table that you need to fill up upon registering your pupils.
Submission of Registration is ASAP.
Immediate dissemination and compliance with this Memorandum is hereby
enjoined.
