(CARVES ORD ET IETORD AX BROERILELAL PrEYa--+ 3-9 COMMENTARY Thave loved Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite since I was a child, and around 1984 I arranged a version of the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" for solo electric guitar. It was very effective but montrously difficult to play, and so I completed a two guitar arrangement of this one dance and ultimately the entire suite. The duets worked very well musically; though because I closely followed the original orchestration they were quite difficult to play as well, The ideal solution was to re-do the work for four guitars.
