Three Interesting Place In Melaka

Melaka is a historical city in Malaysia that have many interesting places. There are many
historical places to visit glimpse of Malacca's glorious past. This is balanced with other modern
attractions such as water theme parks and cultural parks. Melaka is a tourist attraction due to
its extensive history and culture. There are three interesting places in Melaka. The place I
choose is A Famosa Fort, Dataran Pahlawan and the baba and Nyonya Museum.

Firstly, A Famosa is Portuguese fortress. It was built by the Portuguese Empire in 1511. It
is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. The history of the remain
architecture makes this place attracting people to come here. There are a lot of tourism came
here to view the history and architecture. This makes A Famosa interesting places.

Secondly, Malacca Chinatown is extremely picturesque and invokes a sense of nostalgia


but the bigger attraction is the culture and even the people. The entire Chinatown is very
traditional places. The most popular in Chinatown is Wang Kang festival. Wang Kang Festival
organized when devotees are called upon to do so by deities. It is a ritual to cleanse the city of
evil spirits and negative forces and the event almost always attracted people from the region to
participate.

Thirdly, Baba and Nyonya heritage museum. This museum showed the culture of baba
and nyonya. The Baba-Nyonya is a unique community and cultural phenomenon in an era of
momentous transition. They are rich with the cultural heritage, cuisine, fashion and arts. Their
beliefs and society structural are originated mixture of Chinese and Malay. This museum has a
lot information about baba and nyonya cultural such as their fashion and unique arts.

Therefore, Melaka has many interesting places and a lot of history that’s make Melaka
are historical city. In conclusion, Melaka among the smallest city in Malaysia that have unique
culture and traditional place. The historical of Melaka makes tourism came here to know about
their history and the remains architecture.
