Guidelines for the Major Project

The contents of the project report should be arranged as per the order given below. The
documentation should have at least 40-50 pages.

1. Title Page
2. Table of Contents (including Page Numbers)
3. Student’s Declaration
4. Certificate from the Faculty Mentor
5. Acknowledgement
6. List of Figures (if any)
7. List of Tables (if any)
8. Executive Summary (2 to 3 Pages)
9. Introduction
10. Company’s Profile
11. Research Methodology
12. Data Analysis
13. Findings & Conclusion
14. Suggestions and Recommendations
15. Bibliography\References
16. Annexures
 The Final Documentation must be typed in MS-Word as per the following format specifications:
Page Specification
Paper Size : White A4 size on Bond Paper
Left Margin : 3.5 cms/1.25 inch
Right Margin : 2.54 cms/ 1 inch
Top Margin : 2.54 cms/ 1 inch
Bottom Margin : 2.54 cms/ 1 inch
Provide a single line border to each page

Text Specification
Page numbers : Pages before Introduction should be numbered in Roman.
Introduction onwards pages should be numbered at the bottom
center of the pages.
Normal Body Text : Font Size: 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 lines Spacing, Alignment:
Justified
Paragraph Heading : Font Size: 14, Times New Roman, Bold + Underlined
Topic Heading : Font Size: 16, Times New Roman, Uppercase, Bold + Underlined,
