Assignment3 Id 018

1) An ANOVA test was conducted to analyze the differences in educational levels and previous work experiences among clerical employees, custodial employees, and managers. 2) For both educational levels and previous work experiences, the significance values were 0, so the null hypothesis that the means are equal was rejected. 3) Multiple comparison tests found that custodial employees had significantly more years of education and more previous work experience than both clerical employees and managers.

*. The mean difference is significant at the 0.05 level.

Let µ1 = mean education level of the total population of clerical employees.

Let µ2 = mean education level of the total population of custodial employees.
Let µ3 = mean education level of the total population of managers.

H0: µ1 = µ2 = µ3

HA: At least one of the means is different.

For α = 1%,
We reject the null hypothesis because the significance level (p-value) tends to zero.

There isn’t any similarity of the education level among clerical employees, custodial
employees and managers.
