Cisco D9804 Multiple Transport Receiver
The Cisco® D9804 Multiple Transport Receiver provides a highly efficient solution for
satellite-based distribution of Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) signals to transit sites,
including DVB-Terrestial (DVB-T), DVB-Handheld (DVB-H), and DVB-Cable (DVB-C)
signals. It is compatible with both Multi-Frequency Network (MFN) and Single
Frequency Network (SFN) broadcasts. The D9804 Multiple Transport Receiver
receives up to four satellite signals and decombines up to six DVB asynchronous
serial interface (DVB-ASI) transport signals from any of the incoming satellite signals.
It outputs the content by dual (mirrored) DVB-ASI connections for further distribution
into digital networks serving either digital terrestrial networks or other types of
consumer redistribution networks.
Figures 1 and 2 show front and back views of the Cisco D9804 Multiple Transport Receiver.
