Our Mission
The objective of Xpert Welding Projects & Construction cc is to provide our customers
with outstanding service. This is achieved by the use of an entrenched quality
management system, manufacturing flexibility and competent, qualified staff, who
settle for nothing less than total quality in all our services.
In addition we are committed to providing ongoing training for our most important
assets, our people. In this way we attain our objective while ensuring constant growth
and prosperity for our company, our people and our customers. We are available 24
hours a day, including public holidays, as we retain a standby crew. We look forward to

Our Equipment
Our equipment is very mobile, safe and of the best quality with result reflecting on
this. All six (6) Lincoln DC600 units are located on double-wheeled trailers,
consisting of two machines per trailer, ensuring availability at all times, wherever
the job may be. Our furnace shell, pot and ladle shell work repairs are done
strictly to welding procedure specification standards (adjudicated and quantified
by 3rd party auditors Dr J J Marais of Megmet (Pty) Ltd) and quality control,
procedure, performance and non-destructive testing during and post weld
completion is satisfied in all of the above practices in documented form submitted
with the work.

Our Team
The company is Level 1 and 135 % BBBEE compliant and it consists of 2 members,
Sahil Rabbipal (49% black owned) and Lisha Rabbipal (51% black women owned). Sahil is a
qualified Mechanical Engineer (Durban University of Technology), with 16 years experience in
both the stainless steel and chrome industry. Sahil has NDT qualification issued by SAIW, MDP
and MBL (Management qualifications). He has qualifications in maintenance and asset
management as well as reliability centered maintenance. Sahi has 16 years of experience in
both the Stainless and Chrome Industries. Lisha has three years experience in safety
management, as well as Financial and Business Management, and Commercial Law
qualifications (University of Natal and UNISA).
There are two supervisors, 9 coded welders (all with more than 10 years experience) and a
general construction crew of 8 men. 80% of Xpert Employees have more than 6 years
experience with the Company, of which 5 men exceed 10 years with the Company.
Xpert Welding & Construction cc has been successfully involved in the welding industry for
over eighteen years, and establishing an impressive client list along the way.

We obtained the contract for repairing all the ladles; launder tips and
slagpots, which we have done successfully for the past seventeen years. If
necessary we also transport ladles to our workshop for repairs. This
includes the welding repairs and manufacturing requirements on their
complete mobile equipment fleet. Our team of well-trained and qualified
people were also involved in various other jobs at MFC, as well as
refurbishing, fabrication of front-end loader buckets, and Furnace Shell
Repairs on Shut downs. We do extensive roof and sheeting renewal and
repairs.

Have done excessive pipe welding repairs, crane structural repairs,
Columbus pot repairs and the AOD vessel refurbishments.

& Construction cc.
