Administrative Internship I and II
Engineered a parent-student night to discuss the differences in campus programs/courses such as Dual Credit,
LEAP, and AP classes offered on campus and their impact on student achievement.
Contributed and organized a student discipline management plan to assist in reducing the number of students out
of class, and/or skipping class, by developing the “Vest” plan; ultimately cutting referrals down in these areas by
42 %.
Mentored a fellow teacher in creating and implementing a new literacy program to help struggling readers
improve their lexile reading number by a 10 % (grade level) in one year.
Assisted in designing the remedial pull out program (pulled from elective classes) where students who failed the
EOC English I and/or EOC English II test got individual assistance based on their weaknesses through data
gathered from their previous test(s).
