Tech Evaluation 5

The SMART Board M600 series is an interactive whiteboard that allows students to connect, create, research, collaborate, contextualize, critique, and build technology skills. It performs basic computer functions through touch and allows two users to write or interact on the board simultaneously. Teachers can project content, use interactive lessons, and write over websites and PDFs. Example uses include having students solve math problems on the board or create and present their own SMART board presentations. The board is easy to use, engaging for students, and reliable with troubleshooting support, but costs approximately $4,000.
