ALKIFAH FOUNDER
Sheikh Hassan Abdullah Al-Afaleq, one of the Saudi businessmen pioneers. He
established Alkifah business in 1970’s, and since then, Alkifah business is growing rapidly and
resulted in forming Alkifah Holding Company in 2003 along with other sister companies.
At the age of 22, (1953) he joined Saudi Aramco and served Aramco for 17 years and decided
to resign (1970) to start his own private business.
Now, Over 9,000 employees are working for Alkifah group of companies, number is expected
to Increase 50% by the year 2017.

Alkifah Contracting Company, KCC, is a branch of Al-Kifah Holding Company which is one of

levels based on the understanding of its management for the training necessity. It is
considered as one of long term investments of the company and been made as one of its
HR policies.

For the last two years, KCC have enrolled over 500 employees into training
courses in professional institution. KCC consciousness of safety resulted in
professional trained employees with adequate experience in firefighting and
first aid as an value added for projects and clients.

B. IN HOUSE TRAINING
KCC has established a training department and located a furnished training lounge
within KCC office space. Training became easier with the opportunity KCC give for
employees to attend courses at KCC offices and during KCC working hours.
Lecturers, trainers are invited from all related training institutions.
Courses were targeted to all levels of employees and even to provide basic work
requirements as English language courses, drafting courses and time management
courses.

KCC believes in its national role in creating work opportunities for Saudi nationals for all
various job levels.
KCC has adopted strategies of Saudi Ministry of Labor to encourage Saudis enrolling into
private sector by limiting office work days to only 5 days per week and two days as a
weekend.
Over 500 Saudis, males and females are working for Alkifah Contracting. They work at
different work levels and extra 170 Saudis under training.

daily mosque neighborhood, having a capacity of 650 worshippers, Site development secondary infrastructure

This project involves the procurement and construction of family apartments which are to be located in
Makkah South District. The project covers the site development, for family apartments and a total number of
nine (9) four-level multi storey buildings including one (1) Mosque.
Site development for family apartments and the Mosque is in one lot and has an approximate area of 33,000
m². The Work includes roads and parking, grading and storm drainage, sanitary wastewater system, potable
and fire water distribution, Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) and irrigation system, electrical power, street

This Procurement and Construction (P&C) project covers the site works includes roads and earthworks, storm
drainage system including sump pits, sanitary wastewater system, potable and fire water system, chilled water system,
treated sewage effluent system (irrigation system), electrical works for storm drainage sump pits, area lighting,
telecommunication system and landscape. The Core Building is a five storey structure with approximately 151,697 m²
build up area.
The Work includes the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, technical services and
temporary works required for completion of the Work in accordance with all the terms and conditions of Contract
including all specifications and drawings.

This project involves the procurement and construction of office and commercial building located

The site total lot area of 7,500 m² and the building total floor area is 22,652.00 m² having 53 total
parking slots at the basement and site, supported with 5 storey parking (Capacity of 400 cars). The
