Teaching Methodology

Lecture
Lectures are given to cover the basic concepts and fundamental principles of related topics.
Reading and reference materials for standard codes and practices as well as relevant worked
examples will be provided. Students are expected to have a self-study about 3 – 5 hours per
week.

Practical
Students in a team of three to five members will engage in an integrated design project with a
specific project title / case study. The development of the design will be from a conceptual
form to a practical blue print/production drawing together with appropriate calculation and
analysis. Along the process, students need to produce a final report, and minute of meeting.
The progress and final presentation also will be a part of assessment.
