Order of Service

Praise Who has held the oceans?

Who has held the oceans in His hands?

Who has numbered every grain of sand?
Kings and nations tremble at His voice
All creation rises to rejoice

Behold our God seated on His throne

Come, let us adore Him
Behold our King! Nothing can compare
Come, let us adore Him!

Who has given counsel to the Lord?

Who can question any of His words?
Who can teach the One Who knows all things?
Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds?

Who has felt the nails upon His hands

Bearing all the guilt of sinful man?
God eternal humbled to the grave
Jesus, Saviour risen now to reign!

Praise Psalm 103 (Tune: Before the throne of God)

Praise God, my soul! With all my heart The LORD is merciful and kind,
Let me exalt his holy name. To anger slow, and full of grace.
Forget not all his benefits; He will not constantly reprove,
His praise, my soul, in song proclaim. Or in his anger hide his face.
The LORD forgives you all your sins, He does not punish our misdeeds,
And heals your sickness and distress; Or give our sins their just reward.
D.L.M.
Your life he rescues from the grave, How great his love—as high as heaven—
And crowns you in his tenderness. Towards all those who fear the LORD!

He satisfies your deep desires God’s kingly rule is over all;

From his unending stores of good, In heaven he has set his throne.
So that, just like the eagle’s strength, O you his angels, praise the LORD,
Your youthful vigour is renewed. Strong ones by whom his will is done.
The LORD is known for righteous acts O praise the LORD, you heavenly hosts,
And justice to downtrodden ones. His servants who perform his word.
To Moses he made known his ways, Praise God, his works throughout his
His mighty deeds to Israel’s sons. realm,
And you, my soul, O praise the LORD!

Praise The Church’s One Foundation

The Church’s one foundation ’Mid toil and tribulation,

Is Jesus Christ her Lord; And tumult of her war,
She is His new creation She waits the consummation
By water and the Word: Of peace for evermore;
From heaven He came and sought her
Till, with the vision glorious,
To be His holy Bride;
With His own blood He bought her, Her longing eyes are blest,
And for her life He died. And the great Church victorious
Shall be the Church at rest.

Elect from every nation, Yet she on earth hath union

Yet one o’er all the earth, With God the Three in One,
Her charter of salvation, And mystic sweet communion
One Lord, one faith, one birth; With those whose rest is won:
One holy Name she blesses,
O happy ones and holy!
Partakes one holy food,
And to one hope she presses, Lord, give us grace that we,
With every grace endued. Like them, the meek and lowly,
on high may dwell with Thee.
