This project mainly focuses on the isolation of polysaccharides from a wild mushroom
(Russula pseudodelica) followed by evaluation of antioxidant activity such as H2O2 reducing
ability, scavenging ability on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicals and chelating
effect on ferrous ions of polysaccharide extract.
