Road Project Aggregate Analysis

VIL Limited conducted a particle size distribution test (aggregates) according to ASTM C 136 on samples from the Kakamega-Kaburengu Road project in Kambi Ya Mwanza, Kenya. The test analyzed a 1200g sample of 0/40 all-in aggregates to determine the percentage passing and retained on each sieve. The results showed that 8.7% of the sample passed through a 0.150mm sieve and met the specification requirements.
