a. Power-up sequence:
Pin A10 of
U501
Press the power button of remote control or front control board to turn on the set, the Indicator
off.
Main IC provide a high level through pin A10 of u501, across R128,then directly send to power
board.

b. Backlight Switch signal and Dim adjust signal
Pin B10 of U501 sends out a high or low level, across R126, then directly send to power
board through pin3&pin4 of P105 of the main board, control the backlight on or off.
Pin B12 of U501 sends out PWM signal, across R124 ,then directly sends to power board
through pin 1a&pin 2 of the main board, adjust back light brightness.

Software update from USB:
1) Please ensure the software you are using has a correct file
name
TCL_MS82_UPDATE.bin, then copy it to the root directory of a
USB disk.
2) Insert the USB disk to the USB socket of the set for which you
are
going to upgrade program.
3) Enter the Factory Menu (you can choose either a or b way
below)
a. In the first place, press Menu button of remote
control, then select Contrast item of Picture
submenu. Finally, press 9, 7, 3, 5 consecutively.
b. When the Factory hotkey item of Factory Menu
is enabled (ON), press Return button of remote
Control.

Software update from USB:
4) select USB UPDATE, press buttonof remote control, a pop
menu
will appear prompting whether start upgradeor not. Press Yes to
start upgrade,
press No to canel. Please wait patiently until the set restart
automatically after
upgrade. Do not cut off the power supply during the process.

Enter Factory menu method:
Follow the below steps to pop-up the Factory Menu in case of
“FactoryKey” is disable:
- press RemoteControl key “MENU” to display main menu
- Select “Picture” and press “OK” key to enter the picture
submenu
- Select “Contrast” item
- press the subsequence RemoteControl keys “9”, “7”, “3” and “5”
Press RemoteControl key “Return” To pop-up the Factory Menu
in case of “FactoryKey” is enable.
The status of “Factory Key” can be changed in Factory Menu-
>Hotkey
Press RemoteControl “OK” key or “RIGHT” key to enter the
submenu.
Press RemoteControl “Menu” key to go back to the root menu.
Press RemoteControl “RIGHT”or “LEFT” key to change the
values.
Press RemoteControl “OK” key run the function.
Press RemoteControl “Exit” key exit the factorymenu.

System reset method:

-Press RemoteControl “OK”, TV will reset system data.
