Vedam Mistakes

Structure & Basic Design

1. Equipment Foundations modifications: AHU Control Panel Seating, DC fuse box, FW


cooling pump, Chlorination unit, VIU units, Heat exchanger modifications, macerator &
SW control panel seating, grease trap, UV Sterilizer, silencer and wet trap foundation,
100TV Antena Foundation, etc.,
2. Deck winches foundation boxes FE Analysis issue with class & modified in-place and
project delay.
3. Windlass foundation modified by ODC and asbuilt drawing got approved by class.
4. Fail to check the stability issue of increase in draft of 0.2m & leads to investigated and
solved by ODC & LR TID.
5. Tank Capacity Discrepancies
6. Tank Sounding Tables will effects content & Remote level gauge calibrations and Level
Gauge glass scale to be changed
7. Stability booklet modifications due to tank capacities

1. Deck tanks drain lines are not fitted as per the class requirements
2. All system pipe routing
