Tubular MMO Anodes for Cathodic Protection

This document provides specifications for mixed metal oxide tubular anodes used in cathodic protection applications. The anodes have a titanium substrate coated with iridium oxide and tantalum oxide using a thermal decomposition technique. They are 25.4mm in diameter, 0.9mm thick and available in lengths from 500mm to 1000mm. The anodes are suitable for use in soils, mud, fresh water, brackish water and seawater. Current outputs vary depending on environmental conditions but the anodes are designed to operate for 20 years. Standard anode types and dimensions are shown along with their typical current outputs at different temperatures.
