½ Day of School Upcoming Events
It is our fourth month of school! Everyone has come a long way
December: since the beginning of the school year. Each student has learned so Book Fair:
None Monday, December 10th – Friday,

None o Family Night
We have begun our Writer’s Workshop curriculum while continuing o 4:00p.m. – 7:30p.m.
to follow the HighScope Curriculum. This writing program is
implemented within all kindergarten classrooms throughout the Spirit Day:
district. We will modify it to meet our student’s needs. In the end, Thursday, December 20th
it will make student’s kindergarten ready; they will know what to o PJ/Stuffed Animal Day
expect next year.
Winter Celebration:
Since the weather has been getting colder, students have been Friday, December 21st
bringing in hats, gloves, etc. We are encouraging all of you to o 8:45a.m. – 10:00a.m.
continue to work with your child at home to get him/her to put these
items on, on his/her own. We will be going outside when it snows.

December: Our last day of school before winter break is on Friday, December
