Great Opposite Search”.
Each of you will be given one card with a word
written on it. Then you will be given one minute
to look for the person who has the word that
would mean the opposite of your word. You don’t
have to stand to be able to look for your partner
because he/she is just among your group.
Just for example, I have here the word - big. Now
I have to look for the person who got the word -
small. Why? Because small is the opposite of big.
After you find your partner, you will remain
seated and wait for your turn to share the pair of
opposite words you have. The presentation will be

Each group will receive these huge bingo cards
filled with random words.
To play the game, I will draw a card from the
stack I have here and I will read the word written
on it. Each group will then mark the word that
contains the opposite or the antonym of what I
have read.
Again, you should not mark the word that you
heard from me but you should mark its opposite
word. Understood?
Now, to win the game, you should be able to come
up with these word patterns - horizontal or
vertical. When your group got one of these
patterns, you have to shout “Bingo Shark!”. The
first group to do this will obviously be the winner
- considering that their pattern is correct.
