Steel Reinforcing Bars for the Reinforcement of Concrete

The following amendments are made to CS[Link]

1. CONTENTS, replace “6.1 Conditions of test specimen” with “6.1 Conditions of testing”.

2. Sub-section 5.1.1, add the following sentence

“The length of the test specimen taken on site for the tensile test shall be at least 1
metre.”

3. Section 6.1, replace the title "CONDITIONS OF TEST SPECIMENS" with

"CONDITIONS OF TESTING".

4. Sub-section 6.1, replace the last sentence with

"The test specimen for tensile test shall be either at least 600 mm long or 20 times the
nominal size, whichever is the greater."

5. Sub-section [Link], Paragraph (g),

Replace “Figure 12” with “Figure 14”.
