Summary:

Feb 2012 - to - Present: 6.8 years of Professional experience:

Setting up end to end EDI Flow for Trading Partners through Sterling Integrator, Developing
Maps in Sterling Integrator in various EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, VDA, CXML, SAP IDOC,
rosettanet).
Setting-up of MFGPRO Ecommerce implementations and developing the EDI-Setups
(Electronic Data Interchange) for the Trading Partners.
Setting up an EDI between 2 entities.
Hands on experience of Sterling Commerce products like Sterling Integrator 5.1, 5.2.6
Sterling InFlight, Sterling Webform and Sterling BPN Tool
Expertise in mapping, testing and implementing EDI documents using knowledge of
standards, conducting tests and enabling trading partners to send and receive EDI
documents
Expertise in resolving critical production issues and root cause analysis.

Major Activities as a Software Developer:

• Setting-up EDI-implementations for several Trading Partners with the help of tools like IBM’s
Sterling Integrator and QAD MFG/PRO
• Well-versed with the concepts like Ecommerce Transformations, Ecommerce Subsystems,
MFG/PRO Definitions, Transmission Group Setups in MFG/PRO.
• Worked on Enhancements as well as on Support related activities on QAD MFG/PRO &
Sterling Integrator.
• Learned a Customized legacy technology named ‘Bobware’ which is based on the similar
lines of Ecommerce.
• Created Sterling Integrator Maps which is used for translating the documents sent by the
customer into a format which is required /understood by MFG/PRO.
• Attending the Queries from the Customers, Bug fixing and Trouble shooting.
• Worked on concepts like Customer schedule, Supplier schedule, Purchase Order cycle, Sales
Order cycle, Schedule Order forecast, Advance Shipment notices.

Worked with Atos as Software engineer from Feb 2012 till May 2015.

Professional Experience in AtoS India (3 years)

Project1: EDI Project for FCI Connectors:

A. Customer-Setups in MFG/PRO:

• Setting-up EDI implementations for several Customers in QAD MFG/PRO which are in-turn
customers of FCI Connectors.
• Assisted FCI’s Customers, in setting-up Standard EDI messages like 830 & 862(Schedule
Order DELFOR s& DELJIT) 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgement),
856 (Advance Shipment Notice), 810 (Invoices), in MFG/PRO.

Significance: Automated the EDI process.

More visibility to track the Shipment
Better visibility of demand and faster schedule update.

B. Work Done in Sterling Integrator:

• Have developed Sterling Integrator Maps for the EDI messages like 830, 862, 850, 855, 856,
824,810 etc in X12/EDIFACT versions.
• Creation of SI Envelopes in X12, EDIFACT ,SAPIdoc, rosettanet and VDA versions.
• Well-versed with the concepts of Inbound and Outbound Business Processes in Sterling
Integrator.
• Creating Codelists in SI.
• Have worked on some smart searches available in SI like EDI co-relation search and Central
Search.

Project2: EDI Project for Delphi Systems:

A. Customer-Setups in MFG/PRO:

• Setting-up EDI implementations for several Customers in MFG/PRO which are in-turn
customers of Delphi Systems. Ensuring end-to-end flow of Ecommerce.
• Migrated all the customers from sterling integrator version 5 to 5.2 also worked in TLE
project where created idoc format map so that TLE files are successfully translated through
stearling integrator and sent to trading partners

• Was Involved in the Migration of Trading Partners which were setup in a legacy system
named as “Bobware” in Delphi to a standard Ecommerce module of QAD MFG/PRO.
Required Developing of Sterling Integrator Maps and several other MFG/PRO setups.

Significance: Dependency on this customised technology was removed.

All the Customers were migrated to the Standard Ecommerce module, so
resolving EDI issues related to these Trading partners became easy and handy.
 • Assisted Delphi Systems, in setting-up Standard EDI messages like 830 & 862(Schedule Order
DELFOR & DELJIT) 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgement), 856
(Advance Shipment Notice), 810 (Invoices), in MFG/PRO.

• Understanding the Business process & Sending Shipments to the Customers, as per the
desired needs of the Business.

B. Work Done in Sterling Intergrator:

• Have worked extensively on creating the Sterling Integrator Maps on VDA version of EDI.
• Created SI Envelopes with various versions starting from 2040 to 5050.
• Created SI Maps for EDIFACT and X12 for both Inbound and Outbound Transactions.

orders & invoices electronically for many clients involved business with IBM. Enable electronic
transactions with different ePV's like Ariba, B-process and Tungsten- Network using different
protocols like EDI X12, EDIFACT, cXML, SAP IDOC, Flat, Facture. Boarded different customers using
Sterling Integrator 5.2.
