Description
❖ General Configurations of the bridge:-
● Total length = 160 m
● Standard warren truss having 40 panels (40@4m) =160m
● Width = 5.3m
● Height = 7m.
● Cross girder spacing = 4m.
● Two stringers with gap = 1.9m
● Distance b/w stringer and lower chord = 1.7 m
● 4 Roller and 1 hinged supports

A typical Cross Girder
Observation
● Lesser deflection in case of continuous bridge (as expected)
● Deflection is lower than the permissible as per IS 800.
● Smaller cross section of truss member ( economical)
● Additional stresses due to temperature effects
Future Works
● Live Load and Wind Load Analysis
● Design of different structural components of bridge
● Analysis of temperature stresses
Conclusion
● Model of bridge has been finalised.
● Analysis for dead load has been done.
● Behaviour of continuous steel truss bridge is as expected.
