I. Introduction
Community Immersion is an experimental process of being with the
people in communities. The process helps concretize theoretical classroom
discussion through actual experiences. It also raises the level of awareness and
consciousness of the realities besetting the people in the communities.
Implementation of trash can in assigned area of ours in College of Law is
one way for ours to contribute memorable good things that makes our
environment beautiful and presentable and with the use of 3 R’S which means
reduce, reuse and recycle can all help to cut down on the amount of waste we
throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. At the
same time, the contribution and impact in the field of environment dimension is so
widen in terms of reduce because it implies to use fewer resources in the first
place. It takes resources to manufacture, transport, and dispose of products, so
reduction minimizes the use of new resources and then, reuse implies also keeps
new resources from being used for a while longer, and old resources from entering
the waste stream and lastly the recycle which is a familiar words for everybody
that simplify also converting waste materials into new products, changing them
from their original form by physical and chemical processes. Although recycling
uses energy, it helps to prevent new resources from being used and old materials
from entering the waste stream.
